a f r a i d of the d a y . . . when y o u have to d e c i d e . . . to go y o u r own w a y . . . " N o t e s . Oh, Raven Feather, my darling. How I miss you. One of my greatest friends played this amazing mare about five years ago. I've always looked up to said friend, and this old black mare was one of my favorite characters I've ever RP'd with. She was the solid stone in the life of my second character, a crazy young mare called Morbid Battle Cry (I was young, okay? I didn't even know what the word Morbid meant. >.> ). Morbid was one of my favorite characters that I ever played, and I was all too pleased to have RF beside her. I hope that paragraph made sense. Morbid and RF were a pair of Arab mares who lived in the care of Midnight Sun, a black stallion who was the only stallion Morbid ever trusted because of her tortured past. (Yes, I am ashamed of my cliche character, but she was only my second character ever, so...) RF and Morbid were confidants, best friends, and stable influences in each others lives. Oh, no, I guess that last part was a one-sided thing... Morbid was anything but stable. That is, until she had Silverlite, her first daughter. She calmed down a lot, but she was over-protective of her--oh, well, more on that when I get around to doing Silverlite's picture. Anyhow, back to RF. Long before Raven Feather came into Midnight Sun's care, she had a romantic subplot (okay, okay, it wasn't subplot, it was alllll plot.) with a chestnut stallion called Vengeance. Vengeance was hopelessly devoted to RF (go on, you know you want to. *sings Hopelessly Devoted To You from Grease* Oh, I really don't like Olivia Newton-John...) and was positively taken with her upon first sight. Unfortunately, some brilliantly dramatic plot device tore them apart and they learned to live apart until... That's right, ladies and gents, Vengeance came searching for his lost love. He found her amongst the mares (in various stages of insanity *recalls the other members of the herd* oh yeah... they were nuts.) in Midnight Sun's herd. He spoke with her, but she had fallen for this new black stallion and refused to leave. Guilty as she felt, she knew it was best if Vengeance left. So he did. And then he died. But more on that when I get around to his image. Okay. I think that's all you need to know about this lovely lady... That's about all I remember, seeing as I didn't play her, I played MBC and Vengeance... But um anyway. Thanks for reading ^3^ Not that anyone did. >.> Look at the mane, the tail, and the tear. They're amazing! Right?! I LOVE the mane and tail, and I've never done a tear before but I'm quite pleased with the result. <3 Rain = fun. C r e d i t s . Inspiration: Raven Feather, as well as the song So Afraid by Sylver. (thanks to ~sychoblu for putting me onto that song.)
